Wiki
This is a sample page. I have high hopes of populating a wiki here. This site is bare-butt simple using a flat-file CMS called Datenstrom Yellow. Once it is set up, you can edit pages in a web browser. Amazing goodness. The default site is white, I just chose to make it yellow.
This is like late 1990s webdesign upgraded to 2020s DIY. It seems to have everything I really need and none of the common distractions. Suddenly, Markdown, that folks have been frothing about for 10 years makes sense: So this is why the coders have committed relationships with it. You can format text from the keyboard as you type without looking up. Holy Goddess! Rah, team!!
To DIY, download one file, unzip it and copy everything to your web server (plus add an .htaccess file with this content) into your directory. You then have to activate it using Terminal, but that is not too scary. Your website is immediately available. The most important things are included. You can add more features later. There are extensions with additional features, languages and themes that you can install. Mindbogglingly empowering for small users.
